Context
Create a robot that substitutes the usage of pesticides within tomato farms by safely planting insect eggs that protect the tomato plants.
Solution
A bio-inspired design, inspired by a human finger. Simulating muscles and tendons, to safely wrap around tomato stems.
Computer vision algorithm used to identify stems.
